Meet Martha Featherbottom!
Hi, ya’ll! My name is Martha. It sure is nice to be back here in sunny California. While I thoroughly enjoyed delivering babies down South
, I am loving the beautiful California weather. However, I do miss seeing my old friends, the fire flies, who often guided my travels by lighting the way. I guess one might say that Home is where the heart is,
and my heart is always with my family. Indeed, there is no place like home.
I certainly am a multi-tasker. In fact, my husband Walter says I can do more things at one time than anyone he knows. I help with the scheduling, provide flying directions, and keep my own, babies,
Martin and Milly, on the straight and narrow. I know how to shake a tail feather,
too.
I take pride in personally reviewing each and every delivery before giving it my blessings for a safe journey. It warms my heart to see so many happy families. Those babies just get cuter and cuter each day.
I have to admit, my other joy is baking, and I am especially famous for my chocolate chip banana cake! This is a favorite of Walter’s for long flights. If you’d like my recipe, just ask!
I’d like to share with you fine people a little secret…I am considering adding a new adventure to our busy schedules. I want to share our stories with all our friends. You can look forward to hearing about our excellent adventures, past and present, in the near future. I wonder where we'll be flying to next? Maybe it will be just down the street from where you live. I think that there must be a baby boom.
